Checkout is redirected to 404 error page, need to get rid of "?COLLCC="

Hello,

I have some issue with ordering process in a site that I made with eCart.

Those who uses Windows, they get extra stuff on URL such as:
http://www.rowingcentre.co.uk/parts/checkout.php&COLLCC=487920067&?COLLCC=487920067&
http://www.rowingcentre.co.uk/parts/cart.php?COLLCC=487920067&

This ?COLLCC=487920067& is not supposed to be there. And it seems because of this the checkout button is redirected to 404 error page.

I googled the solution, some say it’s issue with DNS setting. Just in case I attached the DNS setting image.

The strange thing is that I don't have this problem at all. All of my URLs are clean. Only differences I can tell at this point is that I use Mac in Japan, those who has this issue are using Windows in UK.
And this started happening since just a few days ago, before then it was working fine.
Not sure if this is any help.

Is this about the .htaccess that I need to check?
I have no clue what is the core issue here.

Thank you for your help,
Rika

Can I see a copy of the confirm.php page you are using? I'll see if the issue is on the page itself. I don't see the added parameters when I browse the site. What steps do you use to get to a page that looks like:
http://www.rowingcentre.co.uk/parts/cart.php?COLLCC=487920067&

If I reproduce it maybe I can figure out why it happens.

Hi Ray, thank you for a quick reply! I attached the confirm.php file. Also I updated my question with an image attached (DNS setting). Not sure if this helps.

Please attach a copy of the cart.php page. I think I can fix the issue there.

Here it goes!

I think if you update line 53 from:
if (strpos($Redirect_redirStr, "?") < 0) {

to
if (strpos($Redirect_redirStr, "?") === false) {

it should fix the issue. I'm not sure what is adding that to the end of the url, but that should make it so it doesn't break the page.

Ray,

Thank you so much for this! It seems ordering process is fixed.

The ones who were experiencing this issue are opening sites from bookmarks.
And on their browser other htm pages have this ?COLLCC= after the address as well.
e.g) http://www.rowingcentre.co.uk/index.htm?COLLCC=1627783238&

I should tell them to open the site with proper address after clearing cache, then re-bookmark?
I attached index.htm file as well.

I don't think it would cause issues anymore, so you can probably just ignore it.

Ray,
It seems UK team is still experiencing "?COLLCC=~" generated even after typing in URL directly to the address bar.
e.g) http://www.rowingcentre.co.uk/index.htm?COLLCC=1627783238&
Is there any way to get rid of this? Strangely this never happens on my end.
Any clue will be appreciated...
