Send bulk emails using Subject and Message from form fields

If I want to accomplish the following, using Universal Email....

1. Create a form with 2 fields: subject, and message (HTML editor).
2. Grab all the email addresses from a recordset.
3. Send an email to the entire recordset, with the subject and message body being populated from the form fields.

I do the following...

1. create a recordset of all email addresses
2. create a form with two fields: subject and message
3. This is where I get stuck... I don't see an option for using the message field within Universal Email. The field is <?php echo((isset($_POST["message"]))?$_POST["message"]:"") ?>

Thanks!

Universal Email will create a body file. You can just open up that email body file and paste in the message text as you have referenced it above into the page.

I found a tutorial that pointed me in the right direction. All is working ... mostly. For my TO field, I am using the following, from the recordset: see screen print.

In this recordset, there are 6 email addresses. It's only sending an email to the first record - it's not looping through the recordset and sending an email to each email address. I'm sure I overlooked something - I just don't know what it is.

Please seem PM for login.

Thank you.

Okay - it just worked. It IS looping through the recordset now. It looks as if everything is working.

Thank you!

I spoke too soon. I have no idea where this subject is coming from. Subject, on my form, is just a text field - no HTML. In the last test email I sent out, I didn't even use any HTML tags (font customization) within the email. So, I guess I still need your eyes on this.

Thank you.

Ray, it appears to be working now. I rebooted everything, and now it's putting things where it's supposed to go. So, I think it's all good now!
