Hi Ray
Justw ondering how, on the attached page, I would filter by logged in user (which is equal to EmployeeID) unless the visitor is Administrator or above where all results would be returned?
Thanks
Jamie

been workign on this further and figured that I could filter by the employeeID = userlastname, userfirstname and then wrap it in an if else and create a second recordset without the filter but base the if else on whether or not youre logged in as administrator.
a) theres probably a far better way of doing it...not sure how
b) not sure how I can create the filter , based on a session value. have tried this but not working and not sure what the syntax should be for combining 2 session variables in the filter value
$colname_WADAtimesheets = "-1";
if (isset($_SESSION[''UserLastName' . ', ' . 'UserFirstName''])) {
$colname_WADAtimesheets = $_SESSION[''UserLastName' . ', ' . 'UserFirstName''];
$colname_WADAtimesheets = "-1";
if (isset($_SESSION['UserLastName'])) {
$colname_WADAtimesheets = $_SESSION['UserLastName'] . ', ' . $_SESSION['UserFirstName'];
