been workign on this further and figured that I could filter by the employeeID = userlastname, userfirstname and then wrap it in an if else and create a second recordset without the filter but base the if else on whether or not youre logged in as administrator.
a) theres probably a far better way of doing it...not sure how
b) not sure how I can create the filter , based on a session value. have tried this but not working and not sure what the syntax should be for combining 2 session variables in the filter value
