Cannot protect a page by MySQLi authentication. Restricted page opens directly - does not open logon page first.

[OSX 10.11.3, Dreamweaver CS6, Macbook Pro 15" Retina laptop, MySQLi 1.0.4]

I've added a MySQLi restrict access behavior to a php webpage but I am able to open it without via a link without it opening the logon page first. I'm attaching the logon and restricted pages for you to review. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong so these two pages work together properly.

The restrict access server behavior should use the trigger "before page loads" by using the trigger of the session variable it won't restrict access properly since that session variable won't exist so the check will never trigger.

I changed the trigger to "Before page loads" but that did not help. I still can open the restricted page directly and without the logon page first displaying to initiate a logon.

Please attach a current copy of the restricted page with the server behavior applied before page load and I'll take a look.
