PayPal Recurring Payments webinar

Hi Ray,

Before I purchase the webinar I just wanted to confirm a couple of things.

I have a client site in place that has membership based on 1 month, 60 days and 1 year recurring. We run the purchase thru PayPal checkout.
A user can signup for a free membership which gives them basic access and if they want to upgrade to a premium membership they can.

One issue is they sign up for the free membership with a certain email and when they upgrade they membership and go thru PayPal they may be using a different email assigned to the PayPal account which causes a headache in trying to cross reference payments.

How does that work with the webinar info? Are you capturing both emails, if they have a different email for PayPal?

thx
Eric

The paypal email address doesn't matter. They would log into your web site with whatever you would want and keep track of the payer profile id from paypal and associate it with the logged in user account. The email they use on paypal is never used, so it doesn't introduce confusion.
