Universal Email no longer sending on any account

Hi Guys...

I'm having a big problem with Universal email and the headers from contact form submission. This all came about with some changes to the server after a massive spam issue. They updated the settings and no email is going out from my contact form. My host told me the headers are configured wrong on the contact forms I am using which I created with Universal email.

The problem is that the from address in the headers has to come from a valid email address on the server. However, when I set the from email as user@theirdomain.com and the reply to as user@theirdomain.com the emails still don't send. The error on the email logs show it is rejected because the form emails are trying to send as cpanel_user@server01.myhostingaccountdomain.com. My question is how can I adjust the headers for form emails to a valid email address on the server? I tried to set that from email address and reply to address from the Create Email Settings window but the from still shows as cpanel_user@server01.myhostingaccountdomain.com. Any help on how I can get this fixed would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jeff

It sounds like a server configuration issue. After you try to send an email you can go to a page that has this code on it:

php:
<?php

@session_start();
var_dump($_SESSION);
?>

View source on that page and the email headers will be listed. You can copy those and send them to the hosting provider to ask what is wrong with the header exactly.

You can also try using the checkbox in the email object settings for "use additional headers" and see if that helps.

Ray,

Thank you so much! I tried the "use additional headers" checkbox and it worked like a charm.

Thank you,

Jeff
