hi Ray, How would i go about making a user profile page? If you kind enough to show me the steps?

The security assist wizard will create a user profile page with the login and registration page automatically. Just run that wizard.

When i ran sa wizard and selected simple login this doesnt the profile.php page?

Go to the "Manage Pages" tab when running the wizard and make sure you have a "user update" page listed. That is what can be used as the profile page.

Hi Ray, ok if i wanted to user profile page similar to webassist where we can change information individually will that be hard accomplish? Could you give me a basic outline on what i might need to do ?

It can be a little tricky to do the lightbox windows. Updating the information individually is just a matter of using separate forms for each section you want to be able to update... the tricky part is doing the lightbox script and client-side javascript to pop it up. We don't have any tools to help with that portion, but you can probably find a JQuery library script to help.

Hi Ray thanks for your reply ok i going to lookto see if i can accomplish this.. Also the standard userupdate page how do i customise it so the information is just displayed not the update button or update fields i want to be on separate page?

You can just remove the form and drag/drop the field values you want to display from the bindings tab.

hi Ray thanks for your reply i have started on this if you click on to this link http://j2.junctionweb.co.uk/j2/userupdate.php then put in the password then click on please edit on that form the update button does not even i have added some of the files can you show a direction please ?

It looks like you have broken you update page into multiple forms, but you still have your server validation running on all of the fields.

You will have to apply the Server Validation once for each form triggered off the individual button press events so that only the fields being submitted are validated.
