Add to PowerCMS via DWCS6 not working

Hi Ray, I have exactly the same issue as this thread:

http://www.webassist.com/forums/posts.php?pid=194173

I am adding content to powercms via DWcs6, but nothing is being added to the database even though the content seems to look like it's adding as far as DW is concerned, and when DW has done its thing, the code of <?php echo WA_getCMSContent($database_PowerCMSConnection, $PowerCMSConnection, 'index', 'Our_services_1'); ?> replaces the html that was there… however, if I refresh the content, there is no DB content to be found.

I am running DWCS6 with MAMP PRO on a Mac Intel with design extender 1.2.0.

Ah… I have just looked at the latest version of DE and it seems I am out of date. I'll install that and see if that corrects my issue. Rather than retype all this info, I'll reply to let you know what happens.

Thanks.

No, installing the latest version didn't solve the problem!

I can add content to the CMS via a web browser, and I can then load that browser added content in to DW, but I can't add content to PowerCMS via DW. It's as though DW doesn't have permission to add content for some reason.

I've sent you a message via skype. I do think a screen sharing session is probably the best option at this point.

For some reason, it just started working. The content I added via the browser I then deleted via the browser, then suddenly the content I had tried to add via DW suddenly appeared. It wasn't there previously despite refreshing content and restarting!

Any thoughts as to why?

Something must have changed, but I can't tell you what it might be. Could be anything. Issue with the web server, issue with dreamweaver, overwritten connection files... who knows. With the preface of "nothing changed, but something changed" it is almost impossible to figure out what it was.
