I have a store built with eCart 5 and UE4. I am randomly getting multiple duplicate transactions through PayPal and multiple email receipts with only one database entry.

Customer is using a credit card and going through the normal checkout. It is not happening on all transactions using a credit card. Most recently, July 10th 2015, One customer placed an order and received 11 duplicate emails and we had 11 duplicate charges in PayPal. We had another the same day with 4. However, on the same day we had 2 or 3 others with no issue. I have attached copies of the confirm and UE confirm pages and a screenshot of the PayPal transactions. Any help would be appreciated.

The only thing I can think of is that the page may be taking a while to process and the user is re-clicking or updating the page.

This problem can be resolved a number of ways. I'd try applying the "WebAssist->Forms->Progress Bar" command.

It will add a progress bar when they submit the form and prevent users from clicking the submit button more than once.

I'll go ahead and add the progress bar. I had the same thoughts but was wondering if something else could cause the issue. I have a message on the page to only click the submit order button once and to wait for it to process. But I suppose some customers get impatient.
