Won't install

Trying to install, I enter the correct database info (I get all check marks in the screen before that telling me it has what it needs etc. I've created the database & user etc, but no matter what I enter into those fields at setup, it just keeps telling me it's wrong. And it will tell me one field is right, then if I change something in another field, it will then say that field is wrong, even if I didn't tough that one. It just won't install & I'm losing my mind! LOL! Please help? Thank you!

Even tried different browsers. Says the only correct field is the database name :-(

Saw a post with this same issue & an admin said to check sessions, I downloaded it & did it & here's what I got:

Result:
Session Test = test

The host name should probably be "localhost". See if that works. The database host name would almost never have a "www." in front, because as a database server it wouldn't likely be designed to be accessed through the world wide web.

Thanks Ray. I've just given up and am going to use a WP gallery instead. I always have a problem installing this gallery so I just give up. I know I am entering the correct data, I left out the www & that doesn't work either, so I just give up on WA products. Thanks though.

OK, if you wanted help getting it installed, I could use FTP information to debug more thoroughly. I'm pretty sure the credentials are just off. It isn't a browser issue, so trying different browsers wouldn't matter.

I have the same frustrating problem!

What do you need from me to trouble shoot this? I have spent hours trying to get something to work that I paid $99 for. Costing me SOOOOOO much time and money I can't stand it! I even set up a new hosting account to try to get it to work on a new server, because it works fine under my personal website. But it won't work for my client's website. UGH!!!

I'd need a URL to reproduce the problem and FTP access so I can edit the files and debug it.
