Please post a URL where I can see the problem. Are you using the paypal in-context checkout with the lightbox window? If so that requires an SSL certificate and browsing to the page with https://... maybe your server doesn't have an SSL certificate installed?

It looks like the redirect is not set to the live server. It is trying to return you to http://localhost... If you open up your confirm.php page and search for "localhost" you should update those links to your actual live web server. That might be all it takes. Once you do that let me know if you still get errors and I can look into it more.

It is set on the confirm.php page. You should be able to search for "localhost" on that page and update it wherever it occurs.

You can edit the server behaviors for inserting records into the database on the confirm_pp.php page if you are using paypal express checkout only. You will find the "store cart summary in database" and "store cart details in database" server behaviors applied and can be updated directly.

What settings did you want to update from the payments tab?

Setting to change

I need to change payment to not install SSL but to rely on my payment provider for secure experience and switch paypal to express checkout,
Also I need to change my tax rate %, and right now i have the orders not being stored in my own database, and I would like to change that to be stored in my database.

Could you help me with this?

Why not re-run the wizard and re-generate the pages in that case. It sounds like quite a few updates that might be more difficult to do after the fact. Save a backup of the current pages and re-run the wizard is my advice. Then you can copy and paste any updates you have made manually into the newly generated pages.
