Form Validation

Is there a way to set any form validation with the Insert Record form?

You can use Data Bridge to create the insert record form and add validation that way. Or you can add server validation after the form has been created.

Thanks Ray,

I got my validation working. However, it clears the valid form field entries on submit as well. How do I prevent it from clearing the valid entries?

Odd... it shows up fine in my bindings panel. Does the Server Validations server behavior show in your Server Behaviors window? Maybe try clicking the refresh icon in the bindings panel and see if that causes it to show.

You can also add it manually for now it would look something like:

Doh! Yes, refreshing the Bindings Panel did in fact bring them up. Been so long since I have done things without Business Catalyst I have forgotten all these little tricks. Thanks again!
