Email notifications based on field value

Email notifications based on field value

At the moment I have an update page, and when a record is updated an email notification goes to an admin person.

Is it possible to set it up so that one of two different notifications is sent to two different people depending on the value of a field?

i.e.

if Guide = Yes > send email A to person A
if Awards = Yes > send email B to person B

it's posible to do this with some hand coding.

add 2 instances of the universal email behavior to the page, the first to send email A to person A, the second to send email B to person B.

then add code around each behavior to check the values of the Guide and Awards form elements. the example assumes the form elements are named Guide and Awards, and the value being posted for each is yes:

<?php if(asset($_POST['Guide']) && $_POST['Guide'] == "Yes") { ?>
<code block for email A>
<?php } ?>
<?php if(asset($_POST['Awards']) && $_POST['Awards'] == "Yes") { ?>
<code block for email B>
<?php } ?>
