You would need to edit the CHMOD settings for that particular folder. (you can do this using any FTP software or directly on the hosting control panel.

The below link is a WordPress link but it it colorfully illustrates the various CHMOD settings you need to use:

Hello, well the folder that you wish to use appears to be the one that will be used from the error irk you provided...it just means it will create an additional folder automatically named '.thumbnails' which will be used for the thumbnail images in the KFM image uploader interface. So your main image will be saved to your exhibitionimgs folder and then a duplicate smaller version of that image file will be saved in the .thumbnail folder. So you just need to change the folder read/write privileges for your folder via changing the CHMOD that I explained and provided links to explain how-to in my previous post....I cannot remember which specifically you change it to as not at my computer at the moment as typing via my phone. But let me know if you still require help on this and when I'm back at my computer will give more help.

the .thumbnails folder is auto generated by the KFM File manager. it cannot be changed to use a different folder. it must use the .thumbnails folder.

the error is saying that there is not sufficient privileges to create the exhibitionimgs/.thumbnails folder

the exhibitionimgs folder needs to be given sufficient privileges to create the folder.

the KFM file manager will not use the thumbnails folder you already have.

it needs to be able to create and use a folder named .thumbnails.

I really wouldn't work about this working or mot on your local server, upload to to the live sever and test on the live server.
