Change Menu to add fifth item, can I use DataAssist

Change Menu to add fifth item, can I use DataAssist

I am customising a PowerStore and have been getting along pretty well after purchasing the webinar which was excellent.

One thing I was hoping would be covered in the webinar was the menu in more detail.

I wish to add in a 5th menu item, 'Resources' so I can put a few pages in this section to show things like product videos, and downloadable PDF spec sheets.

How do I do this as I can't see how to add a new main item in the PS admin section.

Do I do it in the code? Or can I use data assist in some way.

it would be really cool if you could use CSS MenuWriter via Data Assist as then I could also change the style of the menu a little. Shame you can't take a menu from another theme and use it in the one your developing as I like the menu in the Crazy Theme but the layout of the default Theme.

Just need pointing in the right direction.

You would need to edit the menu code in the webassist/plugins/main_menu/menu.php file

the top level menu items are LI tags, add a new list item to the main list to add a new menu item.

to create submenu items, you would create a new UL in the LI tag,
