When running the checkout wizard I am getting the following error come up twice during the process: eCart1_WA_Australia Post is an invalid variable name (eCart1 being the default checkout)

Setup a fresh store for the first time

When trying to test the checkout this error is displayed:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in C:\wamp\www\Bushwares\WA_eCart\PP_ECO_Scripts\PP_ECO_PHP.php on line 539

I have been able to reproduce this as a bug when using Australia Post as the shipping method, We will have this corrected in the next update to eCart.

The error about the cURL init function means that the curl library has not been enabled in your php settings:

Thanks for the reply, can you give me any idea of when the update might occur? I have a client pressing me

An update will be available in the next couple of days to fix the error.

the error is more of a nuisance though, and it will still create the pages, to fix the code that the error generates, edit the cart include file in the WA_eCart folder, do a search for:
Australia Post

and replace each instance with:
AusPost

Suggested fix applied - still problem

Hi Jason,

I've applied the suggested fix and still get this at the checkout stage:

That has nothing to do with eCart. It is a php configuration error. I addressed it in my initial reply:

The error about the cURL init function means that the curl library has not been enabled in your php settings:

you will need to edit the php.ini file for your server to enable the cURL library.

the shipping rate lookup is based on weight.

in your add to cart buttons, you are setting a weight for the items.

shipping cannot be calculated if the items in the cart do not have a weight.

you need to set the weight in the add to cart button behaviors for the shipping to work.
