Set Form from Cookie not working?

I've set up a registration form and I'd like the users details to be saved when they submit the form and are then directed back to it because they've failed the validation. I set the "Store Form to Cookie" behaviour to trigger onmouseover of the forms submit button and set the "Set Form from Cookie" behaviour to trigger onload in the body tag but it's not remembering the form details.

I should add that this is an INSERT form and also has Server Validation set to trigger on submit of the form button...I was wondering if all three behaviours were conflicting in any way?

using cookies is not the correct approach for this.

when using server validation on a page, there will be a binding group in the bindings panel called Validated Entries.

The validated entries bindings will save the form values that pass validation when validation fails.

use the validated entries bindings as the initial value for the form elements to retain the values when validation fails.

Really? Jeesh, I've been doing it that way for years - always thought it was a real pain - but it kinda worked!

Out of interest, I'm having a problem with the tabindex on this form. When you are in the first form field for first name and try to tab into the next field you have to double-tab? All the other tabs work, in the correct order, and I've triple checked the numbering. Some kind of bug?

I am not able to reproduce, the tab index is working correctly for me when i try your form.
