Using Webassist Framework Builder in conjunction with Bootstrap 3

I am in the process of updating an existing (framework) site, making it responsive, and using Bootstrap 3 in the css design process.

One issue I am having is implementing the framework plugins, and not duplicating the included javascript files.

When inserting a plugin to a framework page, the wizard adds code above the doctype declaration, to the head and MainContent areas by default.

If I delete the code inserted to the head, I tend not to have an issue with duplication of js files, but I wondered if this is likely to cause me other issues, and if not is there a file I could manipulate so that when the wizard runs, it doesn’t add the include into the head section.

I wondered if other developers are facing similar problems, and how they are dealing with them

when you add a plugin, it adds a line in the head section to add the plugin pages head code, you could remove that.

As a routine, I am removing the plugin pages head code from my framework 'parent' page. - which seems to work pretty well for me

Any jscript in the head of the plugin page, I move to the bottom of the page, just before the closing body tag, so it gets included.

However, with the cart checkout page, i noticed there is an includes in the head section...

<?php echo((isset($WA_confirm_cart))?$WA_confirm_cart->Head:""); ?>

can i ask its function and can i safely move it somewhere else ?

it is there to add the code betwen the head tags of the confirm_cart page to the checkout page between the head tags.

if you where to remove it, you would need to make sure that any code that it was in place to provide to the checkout page was added to the checkout page manually.
