Government email issue

I set up a registration system for a government organisation. We are running into issue with registration verification email. Although the system works the email always goes to the junk folder. However this is not the main issue.

Most of our members are with state and federal; therefore, they use the government email to register. Users with government email do not seem to receive the email in the inbox or junk. They said that did check junk mail folder but nothing.

Any members who use yahoo, hotmail, aol... has no problem

Is there a way to correct this issue?

If it sends to some users but not others, that is a problem with the smtp server.

you will need to contact the host to have them look into the smtp server error log to determine why the emails are not sent to those addresses.

as for the email being flagged as spam, that can be any number of things, it could be the from address being used, the message title or the message body. if you view the message source, there should be an indication of the spam rating from the spam filtering service that should include details on the why it was flagged.

I used the Create email message and the default email body.

My question is, the from email is a dynamic value and is not an email hosted by the server. Would it still be using the servers SMTP

Also, I have used the same default email body to send contact forms, and they do not go into junk mail.

Thanks for the help

It could be a problem with using the dynamic From Address, the from address should be an address for the domain.

you could use the dynamic value for the reply To Address. Click the From button in the UE wizard to access the Advanced from settings to set the reply to.

regardless of the from address, The message will be still be sent through the SMTP server on your host.
