userupdate page not working double opt registration

Dreamweaver CC on a PC - No experience in PHP/mySQL
Last time I did a website was in 1999 (you guys have changed things up a bit...LOL)
This is a website for me, it's a dream from many years of a hobby/passion.

I am at my wits end. I know there is something I have missed, but I can't figure it out. I have watched the video tutorial at least 8 times. I have deleted the all the pages, the WebAssist directory, SpryAssists directory, my database, 5 times and redid the tutorial. 2 of those times my Dreamweaver CC crashed, so my bad. 1 time I was adding my template as I went along. The last 2 times I followed the tutorial to the "T". My problem is that no matter what, when the email comes I click the link to verify. It verifies, updates the table, lets me log in, though it doesn't go to the page I have that is protected, but that is just not having the link to it. I will figure that out.
But, I can not go to the userupdate.php I get a server error message: ERROR 500 which to me mean "Oops"

Anyway, my updateuser.php has an error on link 123, which is in the "//WA DataAssist Update"

Two questions;
1) to do a complete delete of all the double opt in section, do I also delete the "connections" directory? - I want to learn this, I want it to work, doing is learning, right? I just want to know how to CLEAR IT ALL OUT, all directories, server behaviors, bindings, etc so I can start fresh.

2) I am not opposed to help if any one else has had this problem.

I have uploaded a text file and have separated the section Dreamweaver has a "red" marker on. And put 10 or 12 asterisks in front of the specific line

Also, so sorry for all the problems,
The registration.php is loading "admin" and a password in the form automatically, as soon as the page loads, should it do that? Shouldn't it all be blank?

1) You don't necessarily need to delete the connections folder, it wont hurt anything if you leave it. but if you delete it, you will just need to redefine the connection.

2) We can offer help here in the forums any time you need.

anyway looking at the code you have highlighted, I see the problem is on the code for the SecurityAssistusers['emailVerified'] value being used for the emailVerified column in the update record server behavior.

open the server behaviors list, double click the Update Record server behavior. and make sure the code used for the emailVerified column is:

php:
<?php echo(($row_SecurityAssistusers['UserEmail'] != $_POST["User_Update_group_Email"])? '0'$row_SecurityAssistusers['emailVerified']); ?>

Jason,
Thank you so much, it worked. I deleted the server behavior and redid it with your code and PERFECT!

I will be back with more questions I am sure.
