set custom shipping rules

I am a first time powerstore user (i am a web designer, but not a programmer - i build sites in dreamweaver)

I am building a store for a client using powerstore 4.0. he wants to setup custom shipping rules based on final sale price before taxes as follows

final purchase price $0 to $19.99 shipping price $5.99
final Purchase Price $20 to $50 shipping price $7.99
final purchase price $50.01 and up shipping price free

i don't know if this can be done, if it can how? where do i go to do it and what do the rules look lik?

Power Store shipping is calculated based on weight.

in order to do price based shipping, you will need to set the Items weight to be the same as the price. So if an item costs 19.99, set the weight to be 19.99.

In the shipping section of the admin settings, you can set the set a shipping rule, and set the max weight and rate for each split.
