How to put size & color options in menu list into shopping cart

How to put size & color options in menu list into shopping cart

I'm still learning dreamweaver. I need step by step instructions to create the size and color option via menu list, or radio buttons for the customer to put into the shopping cart. I'm confused about list value and dynamic database connection. If an item has three sizes, and three prices, how do you set that up in the database, and then get the menu to dynamically choose the correct price and size option to go into the cart.
Thanks William

What language?

What development language are you using? I'm working on a cart with ColdFusion and can tell you what to do in that instance - but if it's php or asp I can't help.

I'm using php. Does DataAssist help you create dynamic menus like they have in PowerStore for color size menu options in the shopping cart?

In the Download Center for eCart, see the eCommerce Recipes. in the eCommerce Recipes PDF, there are 2 tutorials for this, "Static Based Shopping Options" and "Database driven shopping Options"
