Dreamweaver CC Compatibility

In the Download center, a ZXP Version of Data Bridge is available to install into Dreamweaver CC.

Before installing the Data Bridge ZXP Extension, make sure you have installed the Deprecated Server Behaviors extension that Adobe has made available, see this tutorial for details:
http://www.webassist.com/community/tutorials/view_tutorial.php?tid=233

While installing the extension on Mac OS, you may encounter an Error stating:
"Failed to update database, the extension will not be installed"

This is a bug in the CC Extension manager that will be corrected by Adobe soon, The extension has, in fact, been installed and can be accessed through the menus in Dreamweaver.

Also, the Configuration/Objects/Forms folder will need to be copied into the users configuration folder. See this tutorial for details on locating the users configuration folder:
http://www.webassist.com/community/tutorials/view_tutorial.php?tid=95

under the configuration folder go to the objects folder and add the Attached Forms folder

Extension Manager CC Update?

Has there been any movement from Adobe to rectify the Extension Manager installation issues, or communication to WebAssist or developers from Adobe to work on these issues together?
I realize that in order to uninstall extensions we have to rename our Configuration Folder User/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CC/Configuration .. this removes all extensions, and we can reinstall again.. I have many extensions in addition to the WebAssist Extensions, so this of course is really inconvenient to do if ,say, eCart gets updated, and everything has to be reinstalled to accommodate the proper installation order. If there were an update to Design Extender for Dreamweaver CC, would it be incorrect to simply install that update in Extension Manager CC, without removing the older extension? ...

Thanks, and I understand it is most likely something that can't be fixed on your end..
Doug

New Dreamweaver CC 2014

Hi Jason with the new version of Dreamweaver CC 2014, Is it necessary to install de deprecated extension before installing DataAssist? do you know were can I find it?
Also I have another question that is more for Adobe but if you know the answer please help, I installed Dreamweaver CC 2014 and it is in Spanish, though my computer is in English. Do you know how can I change the language of Dreamweaver?
Thank you in advance

Yes, you still need the deprecated server behaviors. In CC 2014, you need to get it from the adobe add ons site:

I'm pretty sure Dreamweaver installs in the language you select in the Application manager, I Could be wrong though. Open the Adobe Application Manager, and go to Preferences to change your selected language. you may need to uninstall DW and reinstall it after changing the language selection
