Webassist doesn't show up in my Dreamweaver menus.

I have had to reload all my extension into Dreamweaver CS6. When I launch Dreamweaver I get a JavaScript error. I have uploaded a capture of the error. What can I do?

What extensions are installed?

The extensions that are compatible with DW CS6 are:
eCart
Free Tools
Design Extender
Data Bridge

any of the older stand alone extensions should not be installed in DW CS6.

That means that I have spent all this money on extensions that I can't use and I have to spend more to get to use what I have already spent money on. Correct?

when you purchased the extensions, DW CS6 was not yet released, they where not made to be compatible with DW CS6, since then new extensions have been released that replace the ones you originally purchased.

I see in your order history that you have already upgraded eCart and Design Extender, you just have not upgraded Data Bridge, you will need to purchase the data bridge upgrade and install only those extensions to use them in DW CS 6, otherwise, you can continue the older versions in the previous DW Version that you have.

Thanks. I did just upgrade to Design Extender. Thanks for your quick response.

This is affecting me as well... please help...

I too am having this issue of the Webassist menu not showing.
Reading this and many other forum posts have shed no light either.
Even went so far as to uninstall EVERYTHING (including Dreamweaver CS6) and install only the latest version of design extender.
No joy...

Even though I did the upgrade, I still didn't get Webassist to appear. I too uninstalled Dreamweaver and reinstalled it. Webassist still doesn't show up but the error message I was getting has stopped. I still need help.

Open Dreamweaver and then go to Commands -> Manage Extensions to open the extension manager. once the extension manager is open, close Dreamweaver.

I have seen instances before where installing the extensions by double clicking the MXP File to start the extension manager does not work properly, in some instances you need to open the extension manager through the DW Commands menu to get it to work correctly

uninstall each of the extensions, then reinstall them by clicking the Install button in the extension manager and browsing to the MXP File you downloaded.

install the extensions using the following order:

eCart
Free tools
Data Bridge
Design Extender

Also, if you have an Anti Virus package like MacAffee that contains a real time file scanner, you should disable that.
