Paypal Database

In the paypal database lesson I was able to get everything working fine now (I had to edit the coding from earlier assistance from you)... Does this also create the catalog view or do I need to create the catalog pages and refer them to the item details in the database?

the Create Your Product Catalog section of the "Build an admin-driven PayPal store" tutorial goes through creating the product catalog.

Create Your Product Catalog section

I followed the lesson and now made the products_detail.php / products_search.php and the products_results.php pages.

I still don't see the basic catalog pages (store view). Is there something I'm missing? Also I still need to tweak the code for the paypal linking and the image upload. I'm using the latest version. Any reason why it is doing this?

I dont follow, what code are you tweeking from / to? do you mean the image paths? yes, that is to be expected, you will need to change the image paths based on the upload folder. this is normal.

From the beginning I made the admin pages: detail.php / insert.php / results.php / search.php and update.php
Then the products_detail.php / products/results.php and products_search.php

How do I create the pages that clients see when they first start shopping? All the products laid out? Is this a layout that I need to create and then link them to the detail shots? Or does Webassist create the store layout as well?

the products_results.php is the page that shows all the products.

create an index page, then link to the results page.

So all of the items I enter will automatically be present in the results page without having to search, correct?

yes, or if you leave the search form empty.

Do I have to have such a large search form or should I iframe this into a smaller layout? Sorry to ask so many questions...

well, for 1, you can remove the search from the results page if you like, and only show it on the search page.

2, the contents of the search form depend on how you set up the search on the data Assist wizard,
