Hello there

I see that back in 2011 questions were raised as to whether Power Messenger had the capability to attach documents to mailings and Ray said this was definitely to be considered in future releases.
Has anything progressed on this yet please?
If the answer is "no", is it still a consideration?
How easy would it be for my Client to link to a downloadable PDF from within the message as an alternative?

No, power messenger has not been updated to handle attachments. It is still being considered, but most likely wont happen till the next version.

When creating the mailing, you can add links using the link tool in order to link to a pdf on your site.
