spellchecker not showing in editor toolbar

Hey Jason

Just wondering why the spellchecker 'abc' icon is not showing in the toolbar even though its specified in the code...

php:
<?php
// The initial value to be displayed in the editor.
$CKEditor_initialValue "".((isset($_GET["invalid"])?ValidatedField("blogupdate","BlogArticle",false):"".$row_WADAblog["BlogArticle"].""))  ."";
$CKEditor = new CKEditor();
$CKEditor->basePath "../webassist/ckeditor/";
$CKEditor_config = array();
$CKEditor_config["wa_preset_name"] = "Normal (custom)";
$CKEditor_config["wa_preset_file"] = "(custom)";
$CKEditor_config["width"] = "514px";
$CKEditor_config["height"] = "350px";
$CKEditor_config["skin"] = "kama";
$CKEditor_config["docType"] = "<" ."!" ."DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC \"-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN\" \"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd\">";
$CKEditor_config["contentsLanguage"] = "en-uk";
$CKEditor_config["dialog_startupFocusTab"] = false;
$CKEditor_config["fullPage"] = false;
$CKEditor_config["tabSpaces"] = 4;
$CKEditor_config["filebrowserBrowseUrl"] = "../webassist/kfm/index.php?uicolor=".urlencode(isset($CKEditor_config["uiColor"])?str_replace("#","#",$CKEditor_config["uiColor"]):"#eee")."&theme=webassist_v2";
$CKEditor_config["toolbar"] = array(
array(
'PasteText','-','SpellChecker','Source'),
array(
'Image','Table','HorizontalRule''SpecialChar'),
array(
'Link','Unlink'),
(
'/'),
array(
'Format','Bold','Italic','Underline','-','Subscript','Superscript'),
array(
'JustifyLeft','JustifyCenter','JustifyRight','JustifyBlock'),
array(
'NumberedList','BulletedList','-','Outdent','Indent','Blockquote'));
$CKEditor_config["scayt_autoStartup"] = true;
$CKEditor_config["contentsLangDirection"] = "ltr";
$CKEditor_config["entities"] = false;
$CKEditor_config["forcePasteAsPlainText"] = true;
$CKEditor_config["contentsCss"] = array("../css/cms.css");
$CKEditor->editor("BlogArticle"$CKEditor_initialValue$CKEditor_config);
?>

This only seems to be happening when I delete the ckeditor folder and use the folder that replaces it when creating DA pages.

Thanks in advance

Looks like the Updated CKEditor package in Data Bridge does not include the Scayt plugin, also in researching, I found that the CKEditor 4 version in Data Bridge contains a bug with the Scayt plugin.

I will log a bug for this to have it corrected in the next update.

you can fix it by going to the CKEditor Site and downloading the most recent version.

on this page:
download

click the CKBuilder button. From the presets list, choose Full. In the plugins section, make sure that the Spell Check as you type plugin is selected.

in the skins section, select Kama.

In your DW Site, rename the webassist/ckeditor folder then copy the downloaded CK Editor file to webassist/ckeditor.

from the old webassist/ckeditor folder copy the ckeditor.php, ckeditor_php4.php and ckeditor_php5.php files to the new ckeditor folder.

then edit the webassist/ckeditor/config.js file and add the following line:
config.extraPlugins = 'scayt';

Could this issue also affect the 'copy and paste' section of the formatting tab of the HTML editor settings?

Reason I ask is that I tried for the first time to have plain text only and keep structure from word selected but it doesn't seem to work....

please provide more details.

what exactly do you mean by "it doesn't seem to work". in what way does it not work? What does it do versus what you expect it to do?

Well, in the HTML editor edit area it says that it disables the paste as plain text icon and you can just paste straight into the HTML editor and it automatically pastes as plain text....

It doesn't do this though

The plain text option no longer effects the paste from word option, It does not disable that option, but in my tests, i have copied text from word into HTML Editor, and it is being pasted as plain text.
