data language. problem

Hello.
I was creating testings in English .
i try to do a registration in Greek and a receive that message.
{when i do a query i know that i have to put a special code
mysql_query("SET CHARACTER SET 'utf8'");}
that is the code that i get from the form with data bridge.
Illegal mix of collations (utf8_general_ci,IMPLICIT) and (greek_general_ci,COERCIBLE) for operation '='

And what i will do with Google map in Greek characters? i will take only latitude...?

sounds like the table is set to use the greek_general_ci colation, try updating the table to use the utf-8 character set and a utf-8 collation instead

or use a different character set in the SET CHARACTER SET command

mysql_query("SET CHARACTER SET 'utf8'");
