Trying to insert image....

Hey

I have power messenger install on my domain. I'm trying to insert a picture on the design area.

When I press the image button, I get the Image properties window and here where I access the browse server button when I press this button a new window shows up and says "Please Wait - loading... after that not much happens.

in the webassist/kfm/index.php page

find the following line:

<script type="text/javascript" src="j/all.php/can-minify"></script>

and change it to:

<script type="text/javascript" src="j/all.php"></script>

I looked up the file in question and try to change the code. After reviving the code it looks like this has already been done.

I made this change and was able to upload an image. I cannot select the image button and complete the insertion process. PM actually seems to lock up.

Ideas?

Are you using IE 11? CKeditor was recently updated to address IE 11 issues

you can update the CKEditor Files manually.

in the webassist/ folder, rename the ckeditor folder to ckeditor_bak

On this page:
download

click the button to launch CK Builder. Select to use the Full Preset, and the Kama Skin.

Copy the downloaded CKEditor folder to the webassist folder in your site.

from the ckeditor_back folder, copy the following three files:
ckeditor.php
ckeditor-php4.php
ckeditor-php5.php

and paste them in the new ckeditor folder.

you will need to clear the browsers cache to see the updates take effect.

My options were basic, standard and Full. There was NO mention of a Kama Skin.

I chose full and after applying it I seem to have issues even pulling the editor into the mailing edit screen. After clearing my browsers and cache it simply will not come in and it doesn't seem to act any different in either IE or Firefox.

Am I missing something? The version of ckeditor I am trying to use is V4.3.1

Note: I was finally able to find the CKBuilder and configured the correct full preset and the Kama skin for download. I installed it locally to test and here is what I ended up with:
1. Using the New CKeditor: When I use Firefox I can't see the editor at all to do anything. And when using IE I can see the editor but it freezes whenever I go to insert an image.
2. Using the Original CKeditor: Using Firefox I was able to do everything with no problems. But, when IE was used I could see the editor and the images available to me to insert but whenever I tried to insert an image, my browser froze up same as when using the new CKeditor.

Looks like the new CKeditor didn't really do anything and actually made it worse or I have again missed something....

any input is appreciated....
