Trying to insert image....

Thread began 8/13/2012 7:26 pm by alexcubs413730 | Last modified 12/23/2013 7:26 am by alexcubs413730 | 2379 views | 7 replies

Dennis

My options were basic, standard and Full. There was NO mention of a Kama Skin.

I chose full and after applying it I seem to have issues even pulling the editor into the mailing edit screen. After clearing my browsers and cache it simply will not come in and it doesn't seem to act any different in either IE or Firefox.

Am I missing something? The version of ckeditor I am trying to use is V4.3.1

Note: I was finally able to find the CKBuilder and configured the correct full preset and the Kama skin for download. I installed it locally to test and here is what I ended up with:
1. Using the New CKeditor: When I use Firefox I can't see the editor at all to do anything. And when using IE I can see the editor but it freezes whenever I go to insert an image.
2. Using the Original CKeditor: Using Firefox I was able to do everything with no problems. But, when IE was used I could see the editor and the images available to me to insert but whenever I tried to insert an image, my browser froze up same as when using the new CKeditor.

Looks like the new CKeditor didn't really do anything and actually made it worse or I have again missed something....

any input is appreciated....
