In the Power Store Admin panel, go to the Settings -> Payment Gateway Settings section to set the currency.

Thanks for the info but there is no payment gatway option? I have Site, Map & Directions, Shipping, Payment Informations, Taxes, Captcha, Contact Form, Registration Enamils and Store Email but i cant find anything to do whit chcnging it to GBP?

What version of Power Store?

It sounds like you are using Power Store 3 which does not offer support for changing currency, that was not added till Power Store 4.5.

changing the currency is only supported in Power Store 4.5.x

Thanks for the info people, i have followed the steps to change it the only thing is on the main index page i have changed the $ to £ but its still showing the $ when live?
