Spry still posts after wrong input (validation tooltips?)

I've got two pages, userupdate and registration on which I used spry validation tooltips.

Now something strange happens,

When I don't fill in a form or delibrately fill in the form in wrong spry validates as usual, but then it still posts and I got the page back with ?invalid=true which normally indicates server site validation. But the validation tooltips of the spry validation still shows up, but I can't click them away??

I tried removing the onclick behaviour of the submit button but to no succes. I've used the menu to insert the validation tooltips, and these are the only pages with this strange behaviour??

here is an updated copy of the webassist/validation_tooltips/validation_tooltips.js file that should correct the issue.

This is a bug we discovered late last week and will correct in the net update.

In the webassist/validation_tooltips/validation_tooltips.css file, you can change the font size by editing the .WA_SpryValidationTooltip_errorWrapper selector:

.WA_SpryValidationTooltip_errorWrapper {
border-style: solid;
font-size: 15px;
padding: 10px;
white-space: nowrap;
}
