No Web Assist on Menu after DW Upgrade

No Web Assist on Menu after DW Upgrade

Hi,

I just did a Dreamweaver CS5 update after being notified via Adobe's update system. Now, DW doesn't show the WebAssist menu item at the top nor can I edit any of my editable regions in DW. What were editable regions now show up as blank within DW. Do I need to reinstall Design Extender? My databases still appear in DW's database window.

Thanks!

Go To Commands -> Manage Extensions and make sure the Design Extender extensions shows as being installed and enabled.

All of my extensions appeared unchecked (disabled). I checked them all and restarted Dreamwever and the WebAssist Memento panel opened but I still don't have WebAssist listed in the menu at the top and what were Power CMS editable areas on pages still appear as blank without the little Edit notation at the top of editable regions.

What extensions are listed in the Extensions manager as being enabled? Did you close dreamweaver while managing extensions?

Changes to the extension manager will not take place if Dreamweaver is open.

Yes, DW was closed when I clicked the Enable checkbox. When I reopened DW, there was still no WebAssist menu item. I decided to close DW, unchecked the Enable box, then rechecked it. Now, everything seems right. WebAssist is back in the menu and all of my editable regions have returned and things appear to be functioning properly.

Thanks for your help!
