Free Shipping Instruction

Hi!

I am trying to add free shipping for customers if the total $ in the cart is above a certain amount.

Free shipping on items over a certain amount:

eCart object > shipping tab > plus icon > enter name of rule ie Free Shipping

Select the trigger
subtotal for the entire cart contents > 30.00 (for example)

I'm not understanding what calucation to select - (I'm thinking Based on Cart Subtotal) nor what needs to be entered into the text box.

I need some insight.

Thank you!

for free shipping, you would need to add a condition to your existing shipping triggers so that they don't apply over a certain total amount. so if you want free shipping if the subtotal is over 30, add the following trigger to your existing shipping rules:

AND
subtotal for the entire cart contents < 30.00

Hi again.

I have been trying to figure this out for a very long time.

I need to have a flat shipping for $0 - $29.99 of $5.90.

I need to be able to have a flat rate for $30.00 of $0

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have both.

It is either 0 or 5.90 - the rule will not allow two calcuations regardless of the conditions applied.

The only way i could get a shipping discount to apply was through discounts and the discounts needs to have coupons discounts where I run into the same problem.

I have tried creating a new rule and trying to apply the specific conditions and flat rate calculations,- i have tried every way, but the right way apparently.

This seems like it should be an easy thing to do, but i can't seem to figure it out.

Please help.

Thank you,
