Error when trying to add new products

Thread began 7/31/2009 9:04 am by latellogroup375248 | Last modified 7/31/2009 9:48 am by Jason Byrnes | 1716 views | 3 replies |

Error when trying to add new products

When I follow the instructions to add new products I can get to the admin page and log in but when I click on "add new" from the drop down in products I keep getting the error that I have listed below. I have double checked the connection settings and the database name and password and all seems to be right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is the error I receive:

Object not found!
The requested URL was not found on this server. The link on the referring page seems to be wrong or outdated. Please inform the author of that page about the error.

If you think this is a server error, please contact the webmaster.

I think I figured out my problem through trial and error. However I may be reposting as this may be related to another problem but won't know unitl I get to that juncture.

This sort of error is almost always caused by setting the $WAGLOBAL_Root_URL incorrectly.

If you have the power store files in a sub directory of your domain, it needs to be included in the $WAGLOBAL_Root_URL.

What are you setting in the WA_Globals.php for these variables:

and what url are you using to access your pages?

edit: Good to see you got it working. If there's any other issues feel free to ask.
