Some Users Get Corrupted File

Some Users Get Corrupted File

I have Digital File Pro 1.1.3 setup to allow users to stream one of several dozen magazines in PDF. They are about 15MB each. Several thousand users have had no trouble, while every month or so, I get a different person that says that the PDF file is corrupt and won't open. I just had a user send me the PDF, and it was only 5MB when it should have been 15MB.

Anyway, do you have any ideas what could be causing this. I cannot reproduce it, but is something about the way DFP streams maybe causing problems with cerain ISP's...or maybe firewalls or something? It is a very regualr I really need to get to the bottom of it.

the download behavior will trigger the download function of the browser.

In some browsers, it will give the option to Save the file or Open it, using the option to Open the file will cause the corruption that you are describing. Make sure that the people reporting the problem are using the save option and not the open option.

Unfortunately, reproduction is the key to finding the cause of the problem, unless you can reproduce the problem, there is not a lot that we can look into.
