Contact Form Validation errors

Hi

Please can you confirm If I can paste the php code that is on the contact form page into another php page and link to this code as I am trying to validate this page with the W3C validation service and its raising the following error:

Line 1, Column 1: no document type declaration; will parse without validation
<br />
&#9993;
The document type could not be determined, because the document had no correct DOCTYPE declaration. The document does not look like HTML, therefore automatic fallback could not be performed, and the document was only checked against basic markup syntax.

I have tried to paste the code after the DOCTYPE information but the form does not function properly.

The url to the website is:

contactus.php

Thanks

Scott

yes, you should be able to past the code into another PHP page, just make sure to do so in Code View of Dreamweaver.

In order for this to work do I need to link this external php file like a CSS style sheet?

no you just need to copy the contact form php code to the page like outlined in the "How to incorporate the Contact Form Solution Pack into your existing site" hot to article in the How to section of the contact form solution pack support page:
