Remove Border/Background and adjust timing of gallery advance?

Hello, I am trying to use the Gallery Wide for Powerstore as a "flash type header" for a website so that the client can easily manage this and other galleries. I am trying to eliminate the border/background completely as the site's background is a pattern. Is this possible? Also, is there a way to speed up the advance and have it dissolve into the next slide? I would like it to look as close as possible to the current flash at: www.ourladyofgrace.org

My sample one is: olg

Many thanks!
~Chris

in the /gallery/galleries/slideshow_wide/css/themes/OLG.css file change:

.pg-sw-images img {
padding: 15px;
border: 1px solid #ccc;
background-color: #eee;
}

to:

.pg-sw-images img {
/*padding: 15px;
border: 1px solid #ccc;
background-color: #eee;*/
opacity: 0;
}

and add the following classes:

.pg-sw-images-visible {
opacity: 1;
}
.pg-sw-images-prev {
opacity: 0;
}
.pg-sw-images-next {
opacity: 0;
}

in the /gallery/galleries/slideshow_wide/css/common.css file, change

.pg-sw-images img {
/*padding: 15px;
border: 1px solid #ccc;
background-color: #eee;*/
}

to:

.pg-sw-images img {
padding: 15px;
border: 1px solid #ccc;
background-color: #eee;
}

to change the speed of the transitions, edit the /gallery/galleries/slideshow_wide/js/gallery.js file. look for the following line:

delay: 5000 //ms

and change it to your desired transition speed in ms.

This seems to work very well--I truly appreciate it! I noticed though that it is fading/dissolving into a blank background--is there a way to get it to dissolve into another picture like the other galleries do?

Thank you so much!

Worked in preview, not in page?

The tip you gave above did work well in the preview mode, but when I added it to a page I received the following error, and a stretched version of the gallery:

Warning: opendir(/homepages/40/d369590415/htdocs/ourladyofgrace/WA_Globals/galleries/slideshow_wide/css/themes) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /homepages/40/d369590415/htdocs/ourladyofgrace/gallery/admin_gallery/common/functions.php on line 490

I am also attaching an image of the preview mode and what I see on the page (I had to revert to previous page so live site would look ok).

Please let me know what is wrong. Many thanks!

Trying to do this again....almost works

Hello, I am trying to do this for a different site...and it looks like it almost works, but it is leaving a border on the left and top still. Is there something else I have to change with this newer version of Power Gallery?

Also, could you give me the same instructions for applying this to the "Blinds" Gallery? This one fades and shows the Blue Background on this site, and I think the Blinds would be better so it shows a new image - unless I can have the fade to dissolve right into the next image? That would be most preferable.

Thank you!
