Can Edit Existing Map

Greetings!

Just love the new Google Maps update you have released. It is a major improvement to the original.

I have already inserted a new Map, but when I select the placeholder on the page, there seems to be no way to edit it?

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Martin

when you select the place holder, there should be an edit button in the Property Inspector (Window -> Property Inspector)

if the edit button is not showing up, it could be because of bad tags on the page.

Send a copy of the page in a zip archive so I can take a look.

Hi Jason,

Ok, tried this again with a newly created map done completely using the new Design Extender 1.02 update. Seems to work correctly and I get the property inspector edit icon.

Thanks, I will let you know if this happens again.

Much appreciated!
Martin

Same problem, can't edit map

I have the same problem, despite of activating the properties window, it very rarely givens me the 'Edit' button. It seems to be random but it takes too much time. The map is inside of a table.

<table width="550" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="table2">
<tr class="tableheader">
<td width="550" class="tableheader">Location found</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td width="550" height="300"><p>
<div id="wagmp_map_3" style="width: 550px; height: 300px;"></div></p>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

I found I had to select the div tag completely in code view and then after a few seconds the Map Edit Property inspector came up.

I hope this helps.

Cheers,
Martin
