javascript error everytime i load the file into dreamweaver

Hi there, ok well I create a php page with a website design. the design has a top menu for product categories and a side menu for categories (client request) I have 2 seperate php files (with different recordset names) and I am using webassist Framework builder PLUGINS feature as well as webassist DATAASSIST Repeat Selection feature. with the Repeat Selection I am using this on both the seperate files (the menu items need to be read from a database)

now when I insert the second plugin I get this error:

"Error in server behaviour Repeat Selection: the participant's property is not an array, or the elements in the array are not nodes in the document."

I carry on and code is generate, it works in the browser.......HOWEVER:

if I close the document (the main website php document) then later reopen it in dreamweaver..I ALWAYS (even after clearing the .dat file from dreamweaver folder as suggested for clearing the cache) get this error....

"While executing analyseServerBehaviour in DynamicText.htm, a JavaScript error occurred."

After many different tests, I have concluded that it is a relationship of using Framework PLUGIN feature and DataAssist REPEAT SELECTION (however the errors ONLY happen if BOTH the plugin php files use Repeat Section)

So the error seems to generate for having TWO Repeat Selections on the same page.

(If I use standard Adobe Dreamweaver Repeat Region I have no problems) But I want to solely use WebAssist code.

Please can you figure out why I am having these javascript errrors?

Im including the 2 plugin files and the main website file (as txt files)

Help would be most appriciated :)

Chris

instead of attaching the files as text, could you please compress the original php files into a zip archive and attach the zip file

Important Update....

Jason, If this update is relevant to the javascript errors that a lot of users get, I would like to share a discovery I made after some testing....

ok, I came across this discovery because my system is backed up using Acronis, so it only takes 5 mins to recovery my system to a fresh install. which means Adobe Dreamweaver is on all default settings (this is where i made the discovery).

On .php documents that when opened in Dreamweaver came a series of 2 to 3 javascript errors (when using Webassist products). When used my fresh install of Dreamweaver - I had no errors..this baffled me..until I found out why...

it seemed the javascript errors only pop up when I alter the default Dreamweaver layout, when I added the database/binding/server behaviours TAB GROUP to my Dreamweaver layout, thats is when I get javascript errors when I open any document that is using certain WebAssist functions.

But when I DONT have the database/bindings/server behaviour TAB Group displayed on the screen...I get NO javascript errors.

Waht do you make of that discovery? Can it explain the reason why javascript errors appear?

Perhaps this is why, some people get these errors and some dont because its all dependant on is you have this tab group on display.

Kind Regards
Chris

With the server behaviors tab open, Dreamweaver will look through the code to determine what server behaviors should be displayed.

We will still need to look into this on your system to determine why it is happening.

Ive still not had chance to phone the technical support line (due to my hours and the time difference in the UK). at the moment it seems I only get Javascript errors when I load use 2 "Repeat Selections" on same page, (when Im using Framebuilder plugins) and also I found I get Javacript errors when I click on OK for Secruity Assist Server Validation. Im curious how phone support can help since I have tried different installations of dreamweaver, and I have cleared the dreamweaver cache etc etc :(

The thing is the pages I create still work, its just concerning i get javascript errors.

over the phone we will be able to do a screen sharing session to troubleshoot the problem and look into the files to find the cause and implement a solution.

I am now getting this same problem despite everything working well last night.

As suggested, I only get the errors when I open the behaviors panel.

I am creating a site using Framework Themes and plugins.

The error is;

While executing analyzeServerBejaviour in DynamicText.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.

I am getting red exlimation marks next to;
Repeat Selection (which is in a plugin)
Repeat Region (which is in a different plugin)
Image Resizer (in the second plugin)
Show if not first page (in the second plugin)
show if not last page (in the second plugin)

Which make it look as though the issue is with Framework Builder.

Hope this helps
