Any changes to Google Maps?

Any changes to Google Maps?

Greetings!

Is there any changes to Google Maps to use the API 3 now, versus having to get a Key from Google.

Have you added any features like setting the interface zoom level as I have suggested before?

Have you added any feature to set the map display mode from Map to Satellite or Hybrid?

Thanks,
Martin

None of the extensions in design extender have been updated with new functionality.

We'll be doing a free dot release next week to fix the bugs that have been reported and update maps to Google Maps API v3.

The latest update of Design Extender (v1.0.1) is using v3 of the map api and adds the zoom and default map type options.

Excellent news! thank you!

I just purchased my upgrade the other day and have yet to install it. I will be doing so this weekend.

I love how you guys listen to us!

So where can I post my feature requests for Power CMS builder?? I would love to see it be able to handle more WordPress like features like a repeating region for news stories.

Thanks,
Martin

It actually can handle that... you just need to create the right recordset and do a repeated region to show it.

You can find forum posts in powercms builder on how to do it. It is a very likely feature update to add a ui to allow you to do it more easily in the next release.
