convert price based on session variable during add to cart

convert price based on session variable during add to cart

I have a login form that sets a conversion rate during login - eg if I login in Canada, the site recognizes this and sets my conversion rate to 1.0 if I login as a US customer, my rate is set to .87
I would like for the add to cart button to calculate the price as the price in the database x my conversionRate in the add to cart button.
I use asp and vbscript.
I understand that this would mean an edit to code:

ATC_itemPrice = cDbl("" & cStr((rs_products.Fields.Item("prod_cdn").Value)) & "")' column binding

Can anyone tell me what that line would look like if multiplied by the conversion code.

You could add it there, but make sure to clear the cart every time someone logs in, since someone could log in from another region and still have prices calculated from the first login.

anyway if you wanted to add it here it would be:

ATC_itemPrice = cDbl("" & cStr((rs_products.Fields.Item("prod_cdn").Value * Session("yourVariableName"))) & "")' column binding
