Upgrading from power store 3 to power store 4

Upgrading from power store 3 to power store 4

I did a whole bunch of customization to a web site (CSS customization) created with power store 3. If I upgrade the site to power store 4, will it overwrite all of the custom CSS work that I did, or will it merge what I've already created? Thanks.

yes, upgrading power store 3 to power 4 will overwrite the CSS Customizations you made, you will will need to make the customizations again.

Thanks. That helps me better plan on the time involved.

Jason, one more question. Where can I see a screen print of what the power store 4 templates look like? I need to find a close starting point that will mimic the current design so I can give them a better estimate of time involved. Thanks!

Power Store 4 is vastly different from Power Store 3 in the way that pages are put together.

Power Store 4 uses the theming and plugin concept of Framework Builder:
framework-builder/

I dont think a screen shot of a power store template will be of much help.

In power store 4, the template is just the page structure of editable regions.

Framework Builder Themes are applied to the Template to give the page it's design.

The themes can be edited using the online Editor tool in the Power Store Admin section.
