eCart4 using paypal payments standard give customer a printable receipt

sorry using someone elses title but it fits my problem. When I finish on paypal and go back to the success page I only see the thank you your payment has been accepted note. Do I have to populate the page with session info to see what was ordered?

I also an using payments standard but when I set it up I was never asked for email info. What is exasperating is that I have to delete the checkout wizard info to use the wizard again.. but I am learning the database part and details part through repetition. :-)

The eCart Session should still be available and you can use eCart to rebuild the Cart Items using eCart as long as the customer redirect to the success page right after they Pay with PayPal.

when using PayPal standard you are asked for the email every time you run the checkout wizard. I can't see how you are not seeing the option to enter the email.

didn't help
with website standard and remote it doesn't provide any email. Guess I will have to setup some session variables and pass them with ue3
It is a shame that ecart 5 doesn't support dw8 and really don't know why it wouldn't

With any of the Remote Checkout methods, you will not have the option to configure the email using Universal Email.

You will need to rely on the gateway to send the receipt emails.

The remote checkout methods do not process transactions in real time.

thanks Jason.. so far I am doing it by hand by adding UE to the confirm page But still need to work on the final order and t looks like I will have to code that by hand into the user databse.

I have the orders and the details in a db but need to put the user with their sessionID in a db so I can reference all of the order.

Thanks again
Phil
