Powerstore

I just bought the powerstore, installed it.
I am having problems in some areas:
1: I can't redesign a theme, everything I do does not show, when I click publish, I get an error 500:server encounter internal error...
after I changed all the permissions to 777, I could not login. Now I can, but the design errors are still there after changing all permissions.
2.site setting:Can't change the tax for VA
3. site setting: email server, what is it?
I used chrome and IE and both have the same problems.

I am still working on the design, I edited the home page with DWcs4.
I am using the "purple" theme.

I still have some problems:
1.The "support: menu item got deleted and I can't get it back.
2. In the "footer" I can't change the "Terms of use" I would like to put "store policies"
3. how can I take out the border around the products.
4. How can I make the subdirectory of the nemu wider.
5. How can I make the "product's short and detailed description" larger
