Problems getting started with CSS Menu Writer

Problems getting started with CSS Menu Writer

Hi, just purchased CSS Menu Writer and installed within Dreamweaver CS3, however when I try to setup a default quick menu (insert - webassist - css menu writer) the "webassist site tools" dialog box appears, and just states that css menu writer is initializing. Nothing progresses here and I can't seem to even install a default menu.

Help please ! Am I doing something obviously wrong here.

Please see attached screenshot.

Thanks
Jason

what is your version and build number of Dreamweaver?

What is your OS?

Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:

RE: Problems with CSS Menu Writer

Hi Jason

I have tried the following...

Deleting the cache
Recreating the configuration folder
Re-installing the extension

Still no joy though as I get the same problem.

Dialog box just sits there stating initializing.

OS is Windows XP and DW build number is V9.0 3453

Any other clues or is this just not going to work on my build ?

Thanks. Jason

The problem is caused by the Dreamweaver build # 3453.

build #3453 is a pre release beta version of Dreamweaver CS3 that has a known bug with Floater windows like the one used in CSS Menu Writer.

The official release build # for DWCS3 is build #3481, the release build does not have the same floater window bug.

re; problems with css menu writer

Thanks jason. In that case how do I go about requesting a refund and cancelling my licenses?
