Multiple displays of cart info

I need to show a cart summary at the top of my cart page
Main cart is at bottom of page

My main cart is an include

Q: Any simple reason for the cart summary always being, one page refresh away from the main cart?
Even though its included before the main cart?

can you send a copy of the page so I can see the code.

I can post the includes (carts)

the main page is rather complex and long

In theory - should I be able to have a summary and full cart display on the same page?

EDIT: I think I've got it - the add to cart process isn't being included in the summary - so it not taking place until the later full cart include runs

Sorry to waste time

now just have to figure how to get over that one - first thought - simple move the add to cart code to the earlier include

Yeah, that would make sense.
