unable to generate the menu files

Hi there

I am trying to get menuwriter to work.

basically, I can access and define the menu items and the theme etc, but when I come to create the files, the app just hangs and does nothing at all (see screenshot)

I have installed on 2 different machines and it happens on both

Am using Dreamweaver CS3, WIN7 Pro

Not sure what to do?

Please advise

Delete the Dreamweaver Cache file from the users configuration folder:
common_installation_issues.pdf

what is the build number of your Dreamweaver installation?

Go to Hep -> About Dreamweaver. Click the about dialog box once to scroll to the end. post the buil number listed here back.

I will check out that PDF, thank you

In the meantime, the builkd is version 9.0 build 3453

(CSS Sculptor works fine albeit very very slowly when selecting items)

build 3453 is a pre releae build of Dreamweaver CS3, which had a known issue with floated windows such as the menu floater in your issue.

the official release version of cs3 was build 3481. you can try installing the CS5 demo for testing, or contact Adobe to obtain a download for the CS3 build 3481 release.
