data assist - front end link to back end

Hello

I have gone through data assist and created all the pages for admin and all the page for public and I guess I understand the process. Please direct me to the link where I can find answer to this, Now here is my question.

1. I have copied users table and add to the Items for the database. Is that the right way to do it?

2. How do I link the public with the admin? are these two suppose to be in the same folder? what happen to the same file (i.e items_detail.php for the public and items_detail.php for admin)?

3. When uploading to live server, public's files and admin's files are all going to the same place?

I am new to database and php so please show me where I can find a level 1 explanation from beginning to end.

Thanks.

I do not understand what you are asking here, please provide more details.

2) The public files should not be in the same location as the admin files, these should be in different locations.

3) when uploading to the live server, just like on your local server, the public and admin ages should be in the same location.

I would recommend going to the local library or bookstore and looking up books for getting started with PHP and mySQL for the type of level 1 explanation you are looking for.
